China-Switzerland Free Trade Agreement upgrading third round of negotiations held in Beijing.

From November 11 to 14, the third round of negotiations to upgrade the China-Switzerland Free Trade Agreement was held in Beijing. China and Switzerland conducted in-depth discussions on topics such as goods trade, services trade, investment, rules of origin, competition, e-commerce, environment and trade, and economic and technical cooperation, making positive progress in the negotiations. The China-Switzerland Free Trade Agreement was signed in July 2013 and came into effect in July 2014, playing an important role in promoting bilateral trade and investment growth between China and Switzerland. In September 2024, China and Switzerland initiated negotiations to upgrade the Free Trade Agreement.
