Citi Macro: Chinese stock market performance may outperform US stocks, tech stock valuations are more attractive.

Thomas Mathews, head of macro markets at Capital Economics, stated in a research report that in the current market volatility environment, the performance of the Chinese stock market may be better than that of the United States. Mathews pointed out that the stock market sell-off that started in the United States on Thursday has spread to Asian markets, but the performance of the Chinese stock market is still better than markets like South Korea. He believes that part of the reason is that the valuation of Chinese technology companies is "far from excessively high" compared to their American counterparts, and he expects them to continue outperforming US stocks.
