With the background of the transformation towards public offering platform and research integration, the number of fund managers has continuously hit new highs. As of the latest data, the total number of fund managers in the entire market has reached 4,102, an increase of 25% compared to the beginning of the year, nearly doubling from the beginning of 2020. In terms of age composition, there are 613 fund managers who have been in their current positions for less than 1 year, and 1,191 fund managers who have been in their positions for less than 2 years, accounting for nearly one third. The trend towards younger fund managers is evident, with the median tenure of fund managers in the current year being 4.42 years, lower than 4.7 years in 2024, and significantly lower than the median tenure of 7.01 years for fund managers in 2020.
