On November 14th, it was learned from the China Telecom Quantum Research Institute that the superconducting quantum computer "Tianyan-287" equipped with the same chip as the "Zuchongzhi III" has been successfully assembled. This quantum computing system has the ability of "quantum computing superiority", with a processing speed for specific problems that is 4.5 billion times faster than the current fastest supercomputer. In the future, it will be connected to the "Tianyan" quantum computing cloud platform and open application services globally for the first time. This will be China's first quantum computing cloud platform with "quantum computing superiority", marking an important step forward in China's efforts to promote the practical application of quantum computing.
