In October, the national urban survey unemployment rate was 5.1%, a decrease of 0.1 percentage points from the previous month. The average urban survey unemployment rate for the months 1-10 of the year was 5.2%. The local registered labor force survey unemployment rate was 5.3%; the survey unemployment rate for non-local registered labor force was 4.7%, with a survey unemployment rate of 4.5% for non-local agricultural registered labor force. The urban survey unemployment rate for 31 major cities was 5.1%, a decrease of 0.1 percentage points from the previous month. The average weekly working hours for employed persons in national enterprises was 48.4 hours.
