Li Yanhong responds to accusations that Baidu starts early and finishes late: "We are also considering it ourselves."

After the 2025 Baidu World Conference, Baidu founder Robin Li was interviewed by the media. Even internally, I have asked everyone to discuss why we 'get up early and stay up late'." Li Yanhong said: "We cannot expect all innovation attempts to be successful. The characteristic of innovation is that most innovations will fail, we must accept this reality. So Baidu may have started ten different innovation projects internally, and if nine of them fail, I think it is very normal, it should fail, statistically it should fail, if one succeeds, then that's great." Li Yanhong also said: "On the other hand, Baidu has had successful endeavors and failures over the years. If there is any pattern, when the success or failure of a project almost entirely depends on the advancement of its technology, our chances of success will be much greater, especially when this technology requires many years of investment and iteration, then our chances of success will be even greater."
