Shanxi Provincial Government held a working meeting with China Minmetals.

On November 12, Tang Dengjie, Secretary of the Shanxi Provincial Party Committee, and Lu Dongliang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Governor, met with a delegation led by Chen Dexin, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China Minmetals Corporation, to exchange views on deepening the study and implementation of the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Party and the important speeches and instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping's inspection of Shanxi, and to fully implement the new round of breakthrough strategic actions in mineral exploration, and jointly build a national important energy and raw materials base. Lu Dongliang presided over the working meeting between the provincial government and China Minmetals Corporation. Lu Dongliang pointed out that Shanxi is not only a major energy province, but also an important province with abundant mineral resources. Currently, Shanxi is firmly and orderly advancing its transformation and development, accelerating energy transition, industrial upgrading, and moderately diversified development. He hopes to focus on the needs of both sides, strengthen coordination for the "14th Five-Year Plan", deepen cooperation in mineral exploration and development of metal mineral resources, building a full industrial chain for non-ferrous metals, mine ecological restoration and solid waste disposal, green energy park construction and operation, commodity trading and supply chain security, among other areas, to help build a modern industrial system that reflects Shanxi's characteristics and comparative advantages. Shanxi will provide services and guarantees for the development of enterprises in Jin, and create a favorable environment.
