For a long time, the medical field has been committed to developing micro-robot technology that can deliver drugs to specific targets accurately, in order to achieve targeted therapy. Now, a research team at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich has developed a micro-robot that can navigate precisely "upstream" in blood vessels. In animal experiments, the team verified the effectiveness of the system in pigs and sheep cerebrospinal fluid, providing new ideas for future treatments of various diseases such as the nervous system. The related results have been published in the latest issue of the journal "Science".
