Typhoon Phoenix landed in Taiwan.

Typhoon "Fenghuang", the 26th typhoon of the year, made landfall along the coast of Hengchun Town in Pingtung County, Taiwan around 19:50 today. At the time of landfall, the maximum wind force near the center was at level 9, with the lowest central pressure at 990 hPa.
