On November 12th, at the 2025 International Workshop on Plant Phenomics, Ya Island National Laboratory and Huawei jointly released the AI intelligent platform "Fan - Future Agricultural Intelligent Hub" for the field of agricultural breeding. According to the introduction, this platform will standardize the collection of multi-modal agricultural data by building a unified data platform in multiple locations and centers. It is expected to reduce the breeding process from the previous 20 generations to 5 generations, shorten the breeding cycle by 50%, and increase efficiency by 30%.
