Fujian adjusts typhoon emergency response to level IV.
Typhoon "Phoenix", the 26th typhoon of the year, is currently located approximately 100 kilometers west of Taiwan's Eluanbi, with maximum winds near the center reaching force 9. It is expected to move northeast at a speed of about 15 kilometers per hour, gradually weakening in intensity. The typhoon is forecasted to make landfall or pass near the southern coast of Taiwan in the evening to night today, and then gradually transition into an extratropical cyclone. The weather authorities in Fujian Province lowered the typhoon warning to level IV at 15:00 on the 12th. In accordance with the relevant regulations of Fujian Province's emergency plan for flood control, drought resistance, and typhoon prevention, the provincial flood control headquarters decided to adjust the emergency response for typhoons to level IV at 15:00 on the 12th.
