The Shanxi procuratorial organs have filed a lawsuit against Wang Baoyu on suspicion of bribery according to law

Recently, the case of Wang Baoyu, former member of the Jin Coal Group Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of Shanxi Blue Flame Holdings Co., Ltd., former Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman, suspected of bribery, was investigated and concluded by the Shanxi Provincial Supervision Commission and transferred to the procuratorial organs for examination and prosecution. Designated by the Shanxi Provincial People's Procuratorate, the Yangquan People's Procuratorate has filed a public prosecution to the Yangquan Intermediate People's Court in accordance with the law. The case is still being further processed. During the examination and prosecution stage, the procuratorial organs have informed the defendant Wang Baoyu of his litigation rights in accordance with the law, interrogated the defendant, and listened to the opinions of the defense counsel. The Yangquan People's Procuratorate accuses the defendant Wang Baoyu of using his positions as Chairman and General Manager of Qinshui Blue Flame Coalbed Gas Co., Ltd., Chairman, General Manager, and Executive Director of Shanxi Blue Flame Coalbed Gas Group Co., Ltd., former member of the Jin Coal Group Party Committee and Deputy General Manager, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Shanxi Blue Flame Holdings Co., Ltd., to provide convenience in duty adjustments, project contracting, and settlement of funds for others, seeking benefits, illegally accepting others' property in a particularly large amount, and should be held criminally responsible for the crime of bribery in accordance with the law.
