On November 12th local time, a plane flying from Adelaide, the capital of South Australia, to Canberra, the capital city, was forced to return shortly after takeoff due to smoke in the cockpit. It is reported that the plane has landed safely and all passengers on board have returned to the ground safely. The flight belongs to a regional airline under Australian Airlines. Australian Airlines stated that they have assisted passengers in transferring to another flight and engineers will inspect the plane involved.
