According to the China Trade Remedy Information Network, on November 9, the Anti-Dumping, Subsidy and Non-Tariff Trade Barriers Committee of the Peruvian National Institute for the Defense of Free Competition and Protection of Intellectual Property published an announcement in the official daily newspaper "Peru People's Paper," affirming the anti-circumvention final ruling on zippers and their accessories originating from China. It was ruled that the products involved originating from China were transshipped through Indonesia and Thailand to Peru to circumvent anti-dumping duties. Therefore, it was decided to impose the anti-dumping duties originally determined in the final ruling on the products involved from Indonesia and Thailand, that is, to impose a 4.84 USD/kg anti-dumping duty on metal zippers with an offshore price not exceeding 23.29 USD/kg, a 2.11 USD/kg anti-dumping duty on zippers made of other materials with an offshore price not exceeding 44.26 USD/kg, and a 0.66 USD/kg anti-dumping duty on zipper accessories with an offshore price not exceeding 9.28 USD/kg. The measures will take effect the day after the announcement is published.
