National Energy Administration: Steadily building a comprehensive industry base for green hydrogen, ammonia, and alcohol.
The State Energy Administration issued guidance on promoting the integrated development of new energy. It pointed out the need to steadily build green hydrogen and ammonia alcohol comprehensive industrial bases. Support various regions in planning and constructing hydrogen-based energy industries such as green hydrogen and ammonia alcohol, sustainable aviation fuels, based on green development needs and resource conditions. Focus on regions with great wind and solar development potential, abundant biomass and water resources, and plan the layout of renewable energy hydrogen and ammonia alcohol comprehensive industrial bases. Coordinate the supply and demand sides, scientifically plan infrastructure such as transportation pipelines, refueling, and transfer ports, and orderly promote the construction of an inter-provincial transportation system. Support the scale production of green hydrogen and ammonia alcohol in large bases such as the "Shago Desert" and wind and solar energy, promote the application in key sectors such as coal chemicals and metallurgy, and promote the coupling development of industries. Encourage coastal areas to explore offshore wind power hydrogen and ammonia alcohol technologies, and develop green fuel refueling for shipping.
