The National Energy Administration issued guiding opinions on promoting the integrated development of new energy. It emphasizes the orderly promotion of the application of new energy for heating. Encouragement is given to industries with high demand for heat, such as textiles, pharmaceuticals, papermaking, and food processing, to create multi-energy coupling comprehensive supply stations with new energy as the main focus through renewable energy electricity heating, heat pump heating, and photovoltaic-thermal integration. It is suggested to explore the potential of new energy heating resources, scientifically design geothermal heating, strengthen the hierarchical utilization of geothermal energy, develop heating modes using green electricity directly such as direct connection to green electricity according to local conditions, and actively explore the high-efficiency utilization of multiple heat sources such as geothermal energy, wind, biomass, and traditional fossil energy, promoting the organic integration of new energy heating with existing heating systems. The advantages of flexible regulation of thermal systems are utilized to promote the joint optimization and scheduling of new energy and thermal systems, and to explore the coupling application of new energy heating with long-term heat storage technologies such as rock and soil, and water bodies.
