The State Energy Administration issued guidelines on promoting the integrated development of new energy. It pointed out to focus on improving the level of coordinated development of wind, solar, and hydrogen storage. Key technologies such as strengthening the wide-range fast dynamic operation and multi-electrolysis tank joint control of electric-to-hydrogen conversion, improving the performance of electrolysis tanks, enhancing the range, response speed, and accuracy of electrolysis water-based hydrogen production to better adapt to the fluctuating characteristics of new energy sources are crucial. Optimizing the wind and solar power ratio, properly configuring energy storage and hydrogen storage facilities, researching and developing integrated adaptive self-regulating systems for new energy power generation, hydrogen production, and hydrogen storage facilities, and hydrogen loads, and improving the level of integrated optimization and control and self-balancing capabilities of wind-solar-hydrogen storage. Promoting the development of new energy weak grid and off-grid hydrogen production models.
