Since the end of last month, several OEMs have publicly stated that customer demand has exceeded their supply, and even some OEMs have already locked in next year's production capacity and are evaluating customer demand expectations for 2027. Recently, the news of a 50% increase in NAND prices from some OEMs has quickly spread in the spot market. Looking at Flash Wafer prices, after a price increase lasting nearly two and a half months, NAND Flash prices have accumulated increases in the range of 50%-100%, with the price of 512Gb TLC NAND Wafer nearly doubling. It is worth noting that in the long run, prices for 1Tb QLC/TLC NAND Wafers have reached historic highs, and prices for other capacities are gradually nearing their peaks. With the surge in NAND resources, prices for embedded eMMC/UFS have been significantly raised. As of now, OEMs are still maintaining a tight supply strategy, and there is unlikely to be a change in resource supply in the short term. It is expected that prices for embedded storage will continue to rise.
