Seven Bank in Japan is considering investing in the credit card company of FamilyMart convenience stores.
According to the president of Seven Bank in Japan, the bank is considering investing in a credit card company that has a partnership with FamilyMart convenience stores, and discussions are currently ongoing. The bank, headquartered in Tokyo, is looking for other areas of partnership outside of its main business to collaborate with FamilyMart convenience stores. FamilyMart convenience stores are a subsidiary of Itochu Corporation. This trading company is also the second largest shareholder of Seven Bank, after Seven & i Holdings.
