Zhitong Finance APP has learned that on October 23, Professor Lo Chung-mau, Secretary for Health of Hong Kong, delivered opening remarks at the Legislative Council Panel on Health Services meeting on the latest progress of "eHealth+". He stated that since 2024 the government has been taking forward the five-year "eHealth+" plan to upgrade eHealth into a comprehensive healthcare digital infrastructure integrating medical record interoperability, service delivery and process management. "Hong Kong's First Five-Year Plan" proposes continuing to implement "eHealth+", building a digital health network covering Hong Kong and connecting the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, developing new functions and expanding service scope, integrating all government-subsidised healthcare schemes, and turning the eHealth mobile application into a comprehensive health tool for members of the public.
