Novo Nordisk (NVO.N) announced on October 19 that China's National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) has approved an update to the product information for semaglutide injection (brand name: Wegovy): during distribution to patients, prior to first opening, Wegovy may be stored at temperatures of 2C30C for up to 48 hours. According to Novo Nordisk, this approval makes Wegovy China's first and only GLP-1 weight management treatment with this distribution flexibility.
