ELATE HOLDINGS (00076) surged over 27%, having risen more than 64% at one point in early trading. As of press time, it was up 27.46% at HK$0.181, with a turnover of HK$4.6254 million. On the news front, ELATE HOLDINGS announced that on October 15, 2026, its wholly-owned subsidiary Cityhill Limited intends to acquire 69% of the entire issued share capital of AOMI Corporation from Han Carvestone International Limited, at a maximum consideration of approximately HK$754 million, of which HK$534 million will be settled at completion in MUP and gold bars, while the balance (if any) will be paid in MUP, subject to an adjustment mechanism. If the acquisition is completed, it will serve as the starting point and foundation for the Group to establish an AI-enabled transaction platform that directly connects with consumers for the sale and delivery of food, daily necessities and services. The directors believe that the acquisition will enable the Group to broaden its revenue base and enhance its technical capabilities, in particular providing technical support for the platform-based transformation of its graphite business. Upon completion, the Group plans to gradually expand AOMI's business beyond Macau. At the same time, this move is expected to accelerate the transformation of the Group's graphite business toward a digital and intelligent platform model by developing a digital trading platform for graphite products, and to enhance the Group's ability to capture the opportunities brought by the development of artificial intelligence.
