CENTRAL NEW EGY (01735) rose over 8% in early trading, with a cumulative gain of over 30% this week. As of press time, it was up 8.22% at HK$10.8, with a turnover of HK$73.8635 million. On the news front, CENTRAL NEW EGY's interim results show that in the first half of the year, the company achieved revenue of approximately HK$6.33 billion, a year-on-year increase of 56.3%; gross profit of approximately RMB130 million, a year-on-year increase of 50.0%. During the period, revenue from CENTRAL NEW EGY's second growth curve, the AI computing power business, surged to RMB1.047 billion, accounting for nearly 20% of revenue. This marks that the company's growth logic is evolving from being primarily driven by photovoltaic manufacturing to a compound growth model of "new energy + AI + computing power." Yu Zhuyun, Chairman of the Board of CENTRAL NEW EGY Holding Group, said in a recent interview that according to the "AI five-layer cake" theory, CENTRAL NEW EGY can enter three of the five layers. Yu Zhuyun judged that energy is its own; it will not manufacture GPUs itself but will seek cooperation with leading domestic enterprises; it will build its own computing power centers, but scale must be adapted to local conditions. Zhonghuan hopes to establish edge computing power centers closer to users to empower urban applications.
