CHINA SOUTH AIR (01055) has announced that in August 2026, the Group's passenger capacity input (measured in available seat kilometres) increased by 3.61% year-on-year, of which domestic and international increased by 1.77% and 9.57% year-on-year respectively, while regional decreased by 3.67% year-on-year; passenger traffic (measured in revenue passenger kilometres) increased by 4.81% year-on-year, of which domestic and international increased by 3.42% and 9.52% year-on-year respectively, while regional decreased by 3.68% year-on-year; the passenger load factor was 88.01%, up 1.01 percentage points year-on-year, of which domestic rose 1.42 percentage points year-on-year, while regional and international fell 0.01 and 0.04 percentage points year-on-year respectively. On the cargo side, in August 2026, cargo capacity input (measured in available tonne kilometres cargo and mail) decreased by 1.65% year-on-year; cargo and mail traffic (measured in revenue tonne kilometres cargo and mail) decreased by 0.21% year-on-year; the cargo and mail load factor was 51.58%, up 0.74 percentage points year-on-year. In August 2026, the Group had no new major routes. In August 2026, the Group introduced 5 aircraft (including 2 A320NEO aircraft, 1 A321NEO aircraft and 2 B737-8 aircraft), and retired 2 aircraft (including 1 B787-8 aircraft and 1 B737-700 aircraft). As at the end of August 2026, the Group operated a total of 977 transport aircraft.
