The PBOC issued a notice: To keep liquidity ample in the banking system, on September 15, 2026, the People's Bank of China will conduct a 500 billion yuan outright reverse repo operation using a fixed-quantity, rate-based tender with multiple-price award, with a term of 6 months (181 days), maturing on March 15, 2027 (extended if it falls on a holiday).
On September 14, the central bank issued a notice stating that, in order to keep liquidity in the banking system ample, on September 15, 2026, the People's Bank of China will conduct a 500 billion yuan outright reverse repo operation through fixed-quantity, interest rate bidding with multiple price awards, with a term of 6 months (181 days), maturing on March 15, 2027 (extended if it falls on a holiday).
