HK Stock Market Move | JUNSHI BIO(01877) soars over 5% announces that Junmaikang has been included in the 2026 edition of the National Essential Medicines List.
Chinas Biopharmaceuticals (01877) rose over 5%, as at the time of publication, it increased by 5.44% to HK$19.53, with a turnover of HK$44.26 million.
JUNSHI BIO (01877) rose more than 5%, and as of the time of writing, it has risen by 5.44% to HKD 19.53, with a trading volume of HKD 44.2619 million.
On the news front, according to the official WeChat account of JUNSHI BIO, on July 9th, the company announced that Junmaikang (adalimumab injection) has been included in the new version of the "National Essential Medicine List (2026 Edition)", benefiting patients with autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and psoriasis. Junmaikang (adalimumab injection) was jointly developed by JUNSHI BIO and MicuBio. It was first approved for marketing in China in 2022 and has been included in the National Medical Insurance Category B List.
Currently, Junmaikang has been approved for 8 indications in China, including rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, psoriasis, uveitis, polyarticular juvenile idiopathic arthritis, juvenile plaque psoriasis, Crohn's disease, and pediatric Crohn's disease. The product's collaboration has covered 17 countries, with marketing applications submitted in 7 countries. It was approved for marketing in Indonesia in 2025.
