Official foreign exchange reserves in Hong Kong amounted to 445.9 billion US dollars at the end of June.

The Hong Kong Monetary Authority announced on July 7th that Hong Kong's official foreign exchange reserves at the end of June 2026 were $445.9 billion (the same as the end of May 2026). There were no outstanding forward foreign exchange contracts at the end of June 2026 (compared to $300 million at the end of May 2026). The total foreign exchange reserves of $445.9 billion is equivalent to more than five times the circulating currency in Hong Kong, or approximately 38% of the Hong Kong dollar money supply M3.
