The National Energy Administration issued a notice on the newly added national key new energy power generation projects (excluding household photovoltaic projects) in May 2026. In May 2026, a total of 6173 new national key new energy power generation projects were added nationwide, including 27 wind power projects, 6136 photovoltaic power projects (including 39 centralized photovoltaic power projects and 6097 industrial and commercial distributed photovoltaic power projects), and 10 biomass power projects.
